Billionaire prophet and philanthropist, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin of the Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri, Delta State, has gifted six repentant prostitutes with N6 million.
This occurred during the church’s Sunday Service on 7 November.
This comes just weeks after he supported ailing veteran Nollywood actor. Chukwuemeka Ani, with N6 million for his medical bills.
In a video shared online by Fufeyin, the cleric asked people who engage in sex work (prostitution) to accept Jesus Christ and turn from their ways.
Subsequently, about six sex workers came out in front of the church’s sanctuary. They narrated their ordeal, including encounters with kidnappers, as well as with extreme poverty, but little did they know that they would return to their homes as millionaires.
The development started when one of the sex workers (names concealed) came out to testify of her miraculous victory from the hand of kidnappers, who disguised as customers.
According to her, she ended in the bush after the man had enticed her with a promise of N200, 000 but was saved due to the band of the church she was wearing on her ankle.
“It was when I got to the bush that I realized what was going on. The man carried a long knife and wanted to cut through my throat but the knife fell off repeatedly. He started calling me a witch and later ran. I managed to find my way to the road before some people helped me,” she said.
Fufeyin called out other ladies, who were addicted to smoking, drinking and prostitution, prayed for them and urged them to repent and abandon their old ways.
He subsequently gave them the sum of N6 million, with N1 million for each of them.
While the former sex workers were jubilating and crying uncontrollably, the prophet referred to them as God’s children. According to him, except for someone with a spiritual understanding, ordinary people would not understand the implications of what the church is doing.
This is not the first time the prophet did such a gesture. In August, about 15 sex workers, who encountered a life-changing moment at the church recounted horrible experiences they face as the prophet gifted them with N15 million.
