Sunday Adeyemo, a Yoruba secessionist advocate also known as Sunday Igboho, has denied mocking Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), over the death of his son, Dare.

Sunday Igboho was seen in a video circulated on social media saying he did not care about what was happening to Adeboye. He also said God would continue to kill wives and children of those who have large following but have refused to support secession.

However, the Ibadan-based secessionist, has denied making aim at Adeboye.

” I didn’t mock him over his son’s death. If he was alive, he has a role to play in our agenda too so why would I be happy he’s dead?

“If you watch that video again, it is not even about him. I only said powerful people who do not support Yoruba despite having the means and I cursed them. How would they have such power and yet refuse to support us? They should pity us.

“I’m a Christian too, only God knows when each of us will depart this earth. So why would I be mocking him over his son’s death? I’m not happy the boy died, may God forgive him his sins and grant him entry into heaven,” he said.
