The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III, has said he and other leaders are aware of the hardship Nigerians are facing.
The Sultan made the statement on Thursday at the inauguration of a new Mosque donated by the Qatar Foundation to Rijiyar Kade community in Kware Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
He, however, urged Nigerians to exercise patience, saying the suffering in the country does not necessarily mean that leaders do not care about the masses.
He said Nigerians should not give up, but instead support leaders with fervent prayers and remain patient, as the challenges are being addressed.
“As leaders, we are aware of all the hardship the people are facing. However, I want to appeal to all of you to continue to remain patient with us and sustain prayers for us to deliver better.

“Moreover, I want to thank the Qatar Foundation for their commitment to serve the Muslim Ummah in various endeavours. This gesture is highly appreciated,” he said.
