Yeni Kuti, daughter of legendary Afrobeat maestro, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, has denied knowledge of Dede Mabiaku’s claim, that her father was injected with a poisonous substance while in the detention of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
In a recent interview, Dede revealed that Fela confided in him and Seun Kuti, that he was injected with a poisonous substance.

Reacting to the claim, Yeni said:
“Dede knows where he got that information; we don’t know anything about it. If he has information, he should let us know because we are interested, and we would love to know where he got that information from,” she told Juke Box.
She noted that she has never heard anything like that before.
“He should furnish us with the information so that we can follow it up,” Yeni added.
