Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, has revealed the sacrifice her mother made 20 years ago just to make her future a bright one.

The ‘Johhny’ singer, took to her Instagram page on Monday to reveal that her mother sold her economy class ticket to pay her primary six school fees.

She went on to say that though then, thing was a bit rough for them, but now, she and her mother can afford to fly business class.

She shared a photo of herself with her mother in London and wrote:

“London is more than just a city to my family, it marks a time in our lives (20 years ago) when mum had to sell her economy class ticket to pay my primary 6 school fees.

“Today we fly business class! Next stop #amsterdam,” she added.
