The Union of European Football Association (UEFA), has categorically denied that the World Health Organization (WHO), recommended that all international competitions be suspended until the end of 2021 season.

It was alleged that the world health body, during a conference with UEFA this week, said all matches should be put on hold until at least the end of next season.
This is said to be related to increasing rate of Coronavirus infections globally.

There are over 2 million confirmed cases, since the pandemic broke out last December in Wuhan, China.
However, reacting to the development, a spokesperson for UEFA told Independent UK: “This is not correct.
“WHO never recommended that football should no longer be played until the end of 2021.”

All major football leagues, including the Premier League, have been suspended due to the deadly disease.
