A prominent Biafra agitator, Nelly Ofoegbu, says Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), “will never dance, clap and cheer for our slave masters and those that hold him bondage”.
Newsbreak reports that according to Ofoegbu, the news of Kanu being a supporter of Liverpool football club is an “insult”
Recall that Justice Binta Nyako, judge of a Federal High Court, Abuja, said on Wednesday that Kanu should be allowed to watch matches featuring Liverpool while in detention of the Department of State Services (DSS). Kanu had reportedly said in court that he supports Liverpool.
LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB & IT’S DEEP TIES TO BIAFRA SLAVERY.
Liverpool FC is funded by the Bramely Moore slave empire. Moore was the greatest Liverpool Slave Merchant.

“Liverpool Football Club and its deep ties to Biafra slavery. Liverpool FC is funded by the Bramely Moore slave empire. Moore was the greatest Liverpool slave merchant. MNK will never dance, clap and cheer for our slave masters and those that hold him bondage. Stop the insult on MNK!” Ofoegbu wrote on her known Twitter handle on Friday.
Kanu has been in the custody of the DSS in Abuja since he was rearrested in Kenya and brought back into the country on June 25, 2021.
The British-Nigerian was re-arraigned on an amended 15-count charge bordering on treasonable felony.
However, on April 8, Binta Nyako, the judge, struck out eight out of the 15-count charge.
