Wizkid, Falz, Others Shine At AFRIMA 2016

Prominent Nigerian artistes won big at the just concluded All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), that held on the 6^th November, 2016, at the Eko Hotel and Suites Victoria Island, Lagos.

From Wizkid, who emerged the Artiste of the Year to Flavour who also emerged the Best Male West Africa.

Others winners are Afro Juju maestro, King Sunny Ade, who was given a Special Recognition Award. Aramide, Falz and Phyno were not left out from the list of Nigeria winners. Falz was named as the Revelation of the year.

The award was hosted by Ahmed Soultan; Bonang Matheba and Ika Jang.

Meanwhile, Wizkid, the ‘Baba Nla’-crooner had already won two awards on Sunday night at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2016. He won the Best African Act and the Best Worldwide Act at the award ceremony which held in Ahoy Rotterdam Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
