Popular Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has finally received his Grammy award plaque after it arrived in Nigeria.
It will be recalled that Wizkid who was featured in collaboration with Beyonce’s single brown skin girl, won a Grammy award for its outstanding tune.
Wizkid took to his insta story on Wednesday to showcase a picture of his Grammy Award Plaque with his name engraved on it.
This comes few days after Damini Ogulu, a Nigerian singer popularly known as Burna boy had received his Grammy Award.
The Grammy Award event happened earlier in the year, in which had the likes of Burna Boy and Wizkid were nominated and subsequently awarded for their hard work.
However, Seun Kuti, the son of the late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, the afrobeat pioneer, had bashed Wizkid, saying that he did not deserve to be called a Grammy award winner.
Following Wizkid’s picture revelation, a lot of Nigerians have taken to social media, asking Seun Kuti ”How far”.
The “Made in Lagos” crooner is known for his private lifestyle of not sharing too much information on social media about his life, and this has led to so many assumptions and debates about him.
Despite all assumptions and debates, the singer has cleared all doubts and shunned the naysayers after posting a photo of his Grammy plaque.
