A woman abducted between Omo Ijesa and Erin Ijessa along the Ilesha-Akure Expressway in Osun State has been rescued.

She is one of the two passengers kidnapped along the road on Sunday.
While one of them, a man, was rescued on Monday, the woman, whose name is unknown, was rescued on Tuesday night.

The victims were on their way from Erin Ijesa when their vehicle was attacked.

The woman’s rescue was confirmed by Deji Aladesawe, coordinator of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) in Osun State. He said a joint operation by his men, policemen, hunters, Amotekun, vigilantes and JTF men, led to the rescue of the victim.
