A woman, Emily Richard-Obire, has accused the Osun state judge, Olamide Oloyede, who recently wrote a petition against Governor Rauf Aregbesola, of tryst with her husband. Emily, in her petition to the National Judicial Council, NJC, alleged the Oloyede has coveted her husband, making him abandon his responsibilities to his family, including one of his children purported to suffer from Down’s syndrome.

Emily, who claimed to have been married to Richard Obire for 23 years, stated that she only recently found out about the affair, which she alleged had been on since 2011. She also alleged that Oloyede addresses her husband as “my husband” and Richard Obire calling Oloyede “my wife”. Emily also claims to  have evidences to prove her allegations, including that her husband drives around town in Oloyede’s official car.

She alleged that her husband shares a ‘Grail’ faith with Oloyede and has since relocated from his home in Lagos to be with her in Osogbo, the capital of Osun state.

Oloyede, according to reports, received the petition through the state’s chief  judge, and was given 14 days to respond to it.
