A woman has reportedly dropped dead while participating in a worship service at the Universal Church of God. The woman, identified only as Mpofu was said to be giving a testimony at the time her death occurred.
The deceaseds family alleged the church hid her corpse for six hours possibly to prevent a backlash.
One of her relatives wondered why the church did not notify us that she had collapsed choosing to keep her for six hours. We do not know why they kept her in church when they were aware that her condition was critical, that is why we are suspecting foul play,  said the relative.
The accusation against the church drove a wedge between their leaders and the deceaseds family members. Some of the pastors of the Zimbabwe-based church shunned the funeral.
