Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, founder of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry in Onitsha, Anambra State, has warned Chris Okotie to desist from speaking ill of the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Temitope Balogun Joshua, who died in June this year.
The warning from Ohanaemere, who is also known as Odumeje, comes two weeks after Okotie, pastor of the Household of God Church International Ministries, released a video in which he described Joshua as a false prophet, sorcerer, and one who wanted to assume the place of God on earth.
Okotie claimed that there were patterns to show that the late SCOAN founder was a “fake man of God.”
His submissions drew condemnations from some Nigerians who slammed him for speaking ill of the dead.
Speaking during a sermon in his church on Sunday, Odumeje strongly criticised Okotie for not allowing TB Joshua’s family to mourn him in peace.
In the video of the preaching shared on social media, the deliverance prophet said Okotie does not come close to TB Joshua in impact and achievement.
“Young man we have respected you enough and I have never seen you done anything in this life. I have never seen you save any soul and seen you done one miracle like TB Joshua has done but you come out and say that TB Joshua is a devil.
“You have no right to talk about him. You are not in the same qualification. You are not in the same spiritual balance. You are too far canal to who TB Joshua is, to open up your mouth…”
He also said Okotie is suffering from “insanity” for saying he wanted to rule Nigeria.
According to him, Okotie needs “a dirty slap” for his senses to be corrected.
“When I see you saying you want to rule Nigeria, I see that you are suffering from insanity,. You need a dirty slap to correct your senses”, Odumeje stated.
Still addressing the Household of God Church International Ministries pastor, Odumeje mentioned that he does not reply to people with stories but with “deadly spiritual weapons”.
“One man of God can call police. I don’t call police. I don’t call lawyer. I am a man of power,” he added
He urged the Christian community to call Okotie to order to desist from speaking ill of TB Joshua.
