Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji, has lashed out at Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, for banning residents from staging an #EndSARS protest in the state.
The state government had on Monday, released a statement warning residents against engaging in any peaceful protest over the movement.
The government said the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit of the police has been scrapped, adding that there is no need to hold any protest.
The Rivers government also warned that anyone who participates in any protest will be made to face the wrath of the law.
However, the movie star, who took to Twitter to speak against the decision, said Wike’s mustache says it all.
She also said the governor has chosen to be a dictator.
She wrote: ”Your mustache says it all. You could have chosen to be any kind of leader you wanted. You chose to be a dictator. Do you have children? That’s a shame. LEADERS WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE for every loss of innocent life in their State. #ENDSARSOPPRESSION #EndSarsNow.”
