Some youths on Saturday, stormed the venue of the 2020 Lagos City Marathon, Eko Atlantic, to protest against the ban of motorcycles and tricycle in the state.

The protesters, who carried placards, complained that the ban is making life unbearable for them.
The inscriptions on their placards include: “fix bad roads, less traffic”, “metropolitan not treko-politan”, and “I have not been able to resume in my office at stipulated 08 am since Okada ban”, among others.

Lagosians have lamented the ban, with many having to trek to and fro their places of work on a daily basis.
They said the state government effected the ban without providing other alternatives.
